We kicked things off at the Art Institute, wandering through its grand halls and galleries. The soft light streaming through the tall windows caught every laugh, every glance, and every little moment between them. These are the kind of moments that feel completely effortless and real. Whether we were pausing in front of classical sculptures or strolling through marble halls, it was impossible not to be drawn into the effortless connection they share.

From there, we made our way to the Board of Trade, where downtown Chicago brought a totally different, lively vibe to the session. The tall buildings, shiny windows, and busy streets made the perfect backdrop for Amanda and Lu. Their playful energy really came through, from sweet little kisses to laughing together in the middle of the street.

Chicago gave us so many cool backdrops for their engagement photos with the textures, the light, the energy of the city. But it was really Amanda and Lu’s connection that made every shot feel alive.
