Playful Moments at Cape Kiwanda

Cape Kiwanda is known for its dramatic cliffs, warm-toned sandstone formations, and the restless pull of the Pacific. Meanwhile, the wind lifted her hair in those perfectly unplanned moments, while the waves crashed in a steady rhythm behind them. Together, the entire scene felt like it was working in our favor. In fact, this really was the perfect coastal Oregon love story in the most effortless way.

As they moved together so naturally, laughing between takes and sprinting playfully across the sand, they held each other close as the cool ocean breeze wrapped around them. From one moment to the next, every pose melted seamlessly into the next without effort. Ultimately, it was one of those rare sessions where everything aligned—the light, the landscape, and the love right in front of me. It all just… clicked.

Sweet Family Moments

One of my favorite parts of the evening was capturing a few moments with their baby boy. As his bright eyes took in the ocean, and as he held tightly onto them, they instinctively kept him close. In doing so, it added the sweetest layer of authenticity and tenderness to the entire gallery. These, in turn, are the kinds of photos that become heirlooms—the ones you’ll show him years from now and say, “This is where it all started.”

A Coastal Oregon Love Story

As the sun dipped lower, the sky slowly shifted into soft golden tones that wrapped around them like a blanket. By then, the Oregon Coast had gifted us the perfect glow to end our time together. In that moment, I couldn’t help but think how these photos perfectly captured the feeling of the entire evening. Calm, intentional, and full of heart.
